Stewardship

To be of genuine worth to our clients, we must enjoy the complete confidence of our clients. Trust forms the foundation of our role as stewards—fiduciaries—who give top priority to every area of our clients’ financial well-being and their overall interests. When a client feels completely assured about our ability, our honesty, our intelligence, our integrity, our creativity, our experience, our confidence, our passion – we have that client’s trust.

The fundamental, albeit general, definition of stewardship is “the careful and responsible management of resources.” Focusing in a bit, it is the personal responsibility for taking care of property or financial affairs.

Of course, understanding the intent of stewardship is one thing, putting it into practice is another. That is why we can never put enough emphasis on the fact that being a steadfast steward of our clients’ assets is a concept – a commitment – against which we vet every recommendation we make and every action we take.
